Qelvue is a local-first player: your library, profiles and progress live on your device. MediaHub is the optional server that pairs TVs, keeps progress in step across screens, and serves the API and MCP endpoints. Everything below describes what exists now.
Available now
- Pair a MediaHubYour TV or phone shows an 8-character code such as ABCD-EF23. Enter it with your MediaHub's address and approve it on the server — the approval page is the only place the code is checked.
- Self-host MediaHubMediaHub is built from source and runs as one binary. It keeps its data in a directory you choose, and it serves the web admin that pairs devices.
- MediaHub APIThe REST API your server exposes: sign-in, profiles, library, playback passes, Watch Together and the admin routes. Bearer token in the Authorization header — no socket, Watch Together polls.
- MCP for AI assistantsPoint Claude Desktop or Cursor at your own server so it can answer what is on tonight from your library. The endpoint accepts a token only in the Authorization header.

These parts of the product exist, but this site has no guide for them. There is nothing to read here yet, so the page says so rather than describing steps nobody has checked.
- Install Qelvue on a TV, phone or desktopThe apps are packaged for Android and Android TV, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Hisense VIDAA and Apple TV.Not written yet. The packaging projects exist in the project repository, but there is no step-by-step install guide on this site — and no store listing to point at.
- Add a providerAdd the source of your channels, films and series — an Xtream account, an M3U playlist or a media server. Not written yet. MediaHub accepts providers through POST /api/v1/sources and the apps have a provider screen; the walkthrough with screenshots has not been written.
- Add-onsExtend the catalogue with add-ons, and route their traffic separately from your own.Not written yet. MediaHub exposes add-ons at /api/v1/debrid/addons and they are listed in the API reference; there is no user guide yet.
Support and contact
There is no support channel yet. This project publishes no support inbox, no contact form and no issue tracker, and no address has been chosen, so this page will not print one that goes nowhere. A support address has to be published here before accounts open; until then the documentation above is the only help this site can give, and a self-hosted MediaHub answers its own users from its own admin page.
