Legal

Terms

These terms are not written. Qelvue has no account service open and no paid subscriptions running, so nothing here has been agreed to by anyone yet. Each section below says what a lawyer still has to decide.
Draft — owner details required. This page is not legally reviewed. Highlighted items must be completed and verified before publishing.

Last updated: [Owner must provide: date]

This page exists so the site does not link to terms that are missing. It is a list of open questions, not a contract: no sentence on it is legal text, and none of it should be relied on.

Who the terms are between

TODO — legal review required: the operator's legal name, registered address, company number and a contact address for legal notices. The same details are missing on the Privacy and Disclaimer pages.

Current placeholder: [Owner must provide: legal entity or responsible person], [Owner must provide: address or registered location].

Accounts

TODO — legal review required: age limits, who may open an account, how an account is closed, and what happens to a household's profiles and history when it is. Accounts are not open today, so this section has no live effect.

Plans, payment and refunds

TODO — legal review required: the contract terms for the plans shown on the pricing page, the trial's start and end, renewal, cancellation, refunds, price changes, taxes and which consumer rights apply in which country. Nothing is sold today.

Your media sources

TODO — legal review required: the wording that puts responsibility for the sources, add-ons and credentials you connect on you, and that states Qelvue provides no streams. The Disclaimer page holds the current draft of that idea.

Acceptable use

TODO — legal review required: what is prohibited when using MediaHub — for example resale, unlawful content, attacking the service — and what happens when it is breached.

The software licence

TODO — legal review required: which licence the Qelvue apps and MediaHub are distributed under, where its text lives, and how it interacts with these terms. No licence file ships with this site today.

Availability and changes

TODO — legal review required: what is promised about uptime and support for the hosted Pod, how features may change, and how changes to these terms are notified.

Liability

TODO — legal review required: the limitation of liability, the warranty disclaimer, and the carve-outs that consumer law does not allow to be excluded — jurisdiction by jurisdiction.

Ending the agreement

TODO — legal review required: suspension and termination, what a person can export before leaving, and how long data is kept afterwards.

Governing law and disputes

TODO — legal review required: the governing law, the courts that hear disputes, and the complaint route that must be offered before litigation.

Contact

TODO — legal review required: a monitored contact address for legal and abuse reports, and the response time promised for each.
